About Me

I have always had a love of crafting, sewing and interior design.  I recall as a child, making cardboard box houses with miniature curtains made from scraps of fabric.  Pipe cleaners made great curtain poles and wonderfully embellished dressing tables out of empty match boxes.

As an adult, I trained in City & Guilds Design & Craft for Soft Furnishings and then Advanced Curtain Making Techniques.  I also hold Level 3 Award in Education & Training for Adults.

I ensure my workshops are full of information and tips of the trade.  I love to share my knowledge and experience and want you to leave with the confidence to sew on your own.  After leaving, If there is something you're not sure of, you can always contact me and I will be pleased to help you.  Remember, it's only a silly question if you don't ask it.

...and, About You

If you have a willingness to learn, along with guidance, you too can become a 'sewer'.  The skills you can learn are so rewarding, whether you just want to sew for yourself or maybe have your own small business, making for others.
